Fun and rare piece, a Louis Vuitton tennis racket cover (Housse de Raquette de Tennis) in the brand's classic Monogram canvas. This piece was made to protect a full-size racket head, with a fitted oval silhouette, vachetta leather trim wrapping the entire edge, and a zip closure that runs along the side for easy access.
The vachetta leather has developed a warm, honey-caramel patina throughout. The Monogram canvas shows crisp LV motifs, florals, and quatrefoils in classic brown and gold tones. Inside, the piece is stamped "Louis Vuitton Paris, made in France," and the zipper pull is engraved "Éclair" — a third-party French zipper manufacturer LV sourced hardware from prior to the early 1980s, before transitioning to their own in-house monogrammed zippers. Original Louis Vuitton paper wrapping. Great piece for LV collectors or Tennis fans.
