Smoking Stand
Great sculptural smoking stand in the style of Jacques Adnet, pairing hand-stitched black leather with warm brass and a slender enameled iron frame. A single slanted rod rises from a tripod base to a contoured leather-wrapped tray, finished with Adnet style contrast saddle stitching. The tray holds a leather-clad cigarette holder with a domed brass cap and a matching ashtray with a brass rim, steel bowl and pivoting brass cigarette rest. The stem extends above the tray into a bent handle, so the stand can be moved easily from chair to chair, and an integrated wire magazine rack is built into the base. Light, graphic and functional, it works equally well as a side stand beside a lounge chair or as a sculptural accent on its own. Can be used for incense too. Great piece. Priced as a set of 3.
