Overview

Sculptural tripod floor lamp in twisted rope by French designers Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet. Gorgeous design with 3 individual torch shaped lamps wrapped together by rope in the middle and rings around the top and bottom. These rings add more stability to the lamp and help in holding the structure of the lamp.  Entire lamp is wrapped in an aged rope. Newly rewired for the US and fitted with 3 brand new custom silk shades. Very good vintage condition with an amazing presence.

Husband and wife duo Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet were of French-Swiss descent and known for using organic materials such, as rope, hemp cord and bamboo in their designs. Believed to have set up shop in the late 1920s and strived to create decor for the masses, not just the European elite. They created a wide body of work including lighting, tables and chairs.
