Stunning pair of early 20th century display vitrines, hand-riveted from steel with brass hardware. Three glass shelves behind a single hinged door with its original brass hinges and lock. The tapered, splayed legs and block feet are typical of laboratory and apothecary casework built to keep instruments and pharmaceutical goods visible yet secured. Incredibly rare pair both cabinets share the same proportions, hardware, and construction details — a rarer find than a single example, since matched sets of this vintage rarely survive together. They look great together and would work well  flanking a doorway, anchoring either end of a console or bar, or used as twin display cases in a living room, dining room, or retail setting. Both have working lock and keys and are great for displaying valuables. Sold individually as well for those needing only one in separate listings.
