A monumental piece of American roadside history. 12 feet long! Incredible retired California freeway sign that once directed southbound Interstate traffic toward the U.S.–Mexico border, Tijuana, and Ensenada. Iconic and  instantly recognizable Caltrans palette of deep highway green, the sign employs button-copy 'cats'eye' construction — individually mounted, reflective letterforms and numerals set within a reflective white-bead border — a technique used on American freeway signage through the mid-to-late 20th century to maximize visibility under headlights. Great presence. Would look great in any space.
