Incredible early 20th century display vitrine. Heavy and substantial riveted steel with brass hardware. The cabinet encloses three height-adjustable glass shelves behind a single hinged glass door, fitted with its original brass hinges and locking mechanism. Tapered, slightly splayed legs terminating in block feet — is characteristic of laboratory and apothecary casework made to display instruments, specimens, and pharmaceutical goods while keeping them behind glass and under lock. Has working lock and ket its great for valuables. Stunning piece this would look great as a bar cabinet, jewelry vitrine, curio case, or freestanding bookshelf.
