Wall Mounted Green Leather Umbrella Stand
An incredible umbrella stand by Jacques Adnet. Made to float on the wall with two screws. Also able to rest on the ground of course. The iron backplate and base are wrapped in green leather, complete with Adnet's signature contrast stitching. Tanned faux crocodile leather adds luxurious interest to the backside. A brass basket protrudes from the bottom and is secured to the front of the backplate in four places. An iron dish fits into a cubby on the very bottom for collecting rain water, and can be easily removed and drained using a vertical handle. Brass is patina'd and dish is heavily patina'd from 70 years of use. An incredibly unique piece of Adnet, this is the only one like it for sale. Stately presence and massive impact.
