Black Leather 2 Seater Togo Sofa

Overview

Togo 2 seater designed by Michel Ducaory for Ligne Roset — one of the most instantly recognizable seating designs of the postwar era. Built without any internal wood or metal frame, the sofa is constructed entirely from dense polyurethane foam wrapped in soft, supple black leather, giving it its signature slumped, cushiony form and low-slung, floor-hugging stance. Channel-quilted seams and hand-tufted button details run across the deep seat, folded backrest, and rolled bolster arms, creating the ripple-and-fold texture that defines the model.
Designed to be sat in rather than sat on, the piece favors comfort and sculptural presence over formality — equally at home as an anchor in a lounge seating group, a reading nook chair-and-a-half substitute, or a statement piece in a minimalist interior where its bold, organic profile can stand on its own.

Full Togo set along with other individual Togo pieces available in seperate listings.

Located at our Los Angeles Gallery.

Ligne Roset

Lignet Roset is a French furniture design house. Founded by Antoine Roset, the family-owned company began modestly as a small wood manufacturer. It was during the postwar era that their business model shifted to producing upholstered furniture for institutional and commercial use. In 1973, Lignet Roset entered the luxury furniture market with the release of its emblematic, ergonomic Togo sofa, designed for the company by Michel Ducaroy. Ever since then, Ligne Roset has established global recognition as an icon of modern furniture design.
