Vintage Los Angeles freeway shield from the 5 freeway in Los Angeles. Interstate 5 runs from the Tijuana/California border all the way up to the Canadian border near Blaine, Washington. It runs parallel to the Pacific Ocean the entire route. This large freeway shield is stamped CA - 74. Made in 1978, and hung for 44 years before being replaced with new signage by the Department of Transportation. Cool piece of Los Angeles, California, transportation history. Great condition. Three feet wide and just over three feet tall. Strong colors. Matching sign of the 15 freeway available in separate listing.
