Teak and Cane Easy Chair
Distinguished Easy Chair designed by Pierre Jeanneret in the 1950s. Originally created for the city of Chandigarh, India - Pierre's intricate designs have become beloved worldwide. Simple yet elegant, this chair would be the perfect addition to a bedroom, living room, office, family room, or in a more commercial setting such as a retail store, office, or business.
With a new handmade cushion on the bottom of the chair, this piece emits comfort and style through and through. Take away the cushion to reveal an intricate web of weaved caning that creates a sturdy base for both the seat and back rest of the chair. Gorgeous, dark wood with a beautiful patina creates the base of the structure.
"ASR 128" and "ASR 108" stenciled into each chair respectively, telling a story of what building the chairs were designated for. Rare to come by and a functional piece of art that will last a lifetime.
Last 4 pictures show chairs before restoration. 2 chairs available. Priced individually.
Located at our Los Angeles showroom.
