Chair features a beautiful wing loop armrest design along with almost every joint having beautiful curved finishes. Great original condition with perfect patina. Very comfortable. Jacques Hitier

b. 1917

Jacques Hitier (1917-1999) was a renowned French designer and architect known for his contributions to mid-century modern furniture and interior design. Educated at the prestigious École Boulle in Paris, he honed his skills in cabinetmaking and interior design, which laid the foundation for his illustrious career. Hitier gained prominence in the mid-20th century with his innovative use of tubular steel and plywood, materials that characterized much of his work.
