Overview

Exceptional leather and iron daybed by Jacques Adnet. The entire frame is made of a sturdy black iron with both side bars fully wrapped in a gorgeous saddle leather. Brass cap feet as well as brass ring accents on the legs. Headboard and footboard are simple yet elegant with 2 large panels of saddle leather stitched onto each other and fastened onto the frame. The headboard stands 34" off the floor whereas the footboard stands 26" off the floor. Custom cushions are brand new and are done in a great heathered grey fabric and leather piping. This fabric color is accomplished by taking black and white thread and making tight crosshatching patterns with alternating thread colors which creates a speckled grey hue. Bed also includes a perfect custom cylindrical pillow in matching fabric and leather piping. Extremely comfortable and collectible rare daybed. Fantastic age and patina to the iron and leather. Presents beautifully. The focal point of any room its placed in.
