Original Olympic flag from the Los Angeles summer olympics in 1984 on heavy cotton canvas, showing the five interlocking rings in blue, yellow, black, green and red. The flag keeps its original brass grommets and stitched hems along the hoist edge. Age has given it a warm patina: the canvas has mellowed to a soft cream. The colors of the rings are still strong and saturated.
Newly float-mounted on a clean white backing inside a deep white shadowbox frame, with room around the edges.  The minimal frame lets the flag stand out and looks as good in a modern interior as in a sports-themed space. It works well as a statement piece for an office, den or living room, or as a gift for a sports collector. Fun piece of art and great piece of collectible sports memorabilia.
