Overview

Gorgeous pair of Pierre Jeanneret office chairs designed in the 1950s.  These chairs have a floating back and V-leg frame. Pictures show that these chairs are stenciled on the back with "ZOO(0)38" and "ZOO(0)39." These markings mean that the chairs were slated to be sent to the zoo in Chardigarh after completion, giving a playful touch to two timelessly elegant pieces.

These chairs tell a story far beyond their years, and incorporate culture and design references from France to Sweden to India. Attention to detail is key on these chairs that emulate both simplicity and complexity to their viewers. Put these as a pair in your house to add dimension and texture to any room. Would be the perfect addition to a sitting room, office, living room, family room, or foyer.

Brand new handmade cushions added to each chair in a muted brown coloring. Lift up the cushions to reveal a beautifully weaved web of caning that uncovers a whole new layer of sophistication and style.

Priced as a pair.
