Stunning leather and iron wall rack by Jacques Adnet. Rack consists of three hooks descending from top left, a mirror and umbrella holder. A small shelf suspends from mirror, perfect for wallet, keys etc. Original water catcher at bottom of umbrella stand. Iron frame and hooks with red saddle leather accents and signature Adnet contrast stitching. Stunning piece of collectible Adnet. Extremely functional and rare. Great vintage condition. Over 6 feet tall! Only one available.

Jacques Adnet
b. 1900
Jacques Adnet, born on the 20th of April 1900, was a French art deco modernist designer, architect and interior designer. As one of the Godfathers of modern French design his pieces have become highly sought after and collectible pieces which grace most major furniture collections around the world. He believed in the functional aspect of furniture combined with geometrical simplicity. From 1928 to 1960, he directed La Compagnie des Arts Francais during which time he partnered with Hermès to produce a collection of leather-covered furniture and accessories. Known for his mastery in incorporating precious woods, metal and leather into simple, elevated and timeless designs which would stand the test of time.
