Early minimalist nightstands designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar. Beautiful bleached mahogany cases with inset matching hardware and leather wrapped bases. Very functional set and perfect scale. Great as nightstands, cabinets or placed together and used as a buffet. Good vintage condition with wear as shown. Sold as a set of two.

Edward Wormley
b. 1907
Edward Wormley was a prominent American furniture designer known for his influential contributions to mid-century modern design. Born in Illinois, Wormley studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 1930, he joined the prestigious furniture manufacturer Dunbar, where he became the design director and worked for over three decades. Wormley's work is characterized by a seamless integration of traditional and modern aesthetics, resulting in timeless and elegant furniture pieces that remain highly regarded in the world of design.
