Absolutely stunning cerused Oak cabinet by Edward Wormley for Dunbar. Made in the 1950s USA. The bottom of cabinet is a plinth base wrapped in black leather. 

Two wavy sliding planks adorn either side of the cabinet so you can view the piece in a new way, and store larger objects within. 5 drawers run down the center which adds  a unique symmetry and harmony to the piece. Even the inside of the cabinet/drawers have beautifully marbled wood. The bottom of cabinet is a plinth base wrapped in black leather. Authentic "Dunbar" stamped on the bottom of the shelf.

This cabinet has stood the test of time, and only gains more relevance, practicality, and appreciation throughout the years. 

The cerused Oak gives this cabinet a new and beachy feel. The light wood brightens up any space. It is sanded and smooth to the touch. Truly a gorgeous piece that will be the perfect addition to any bedroom, living room, guest room, or dining room. Two shelves on each side of open cabinet not shown but included with purchase.

Edward Wormley
b. 1907
Edward Wormley was a prominent American furniture designer known for his influential contributions to mid-century modern design. Born in Illinois, Wormley studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 1930, he joined the prestigious furniture manufacturer Dunbar, where he became the design director and worked for over three decades. Wormley's work is characterized by a seamless integration of traditional and modern aesthetics, resulting in timeless and elegant furniture pieces that remain highly regarded in the world of design.
