Overview

Add some excitement to your next seafood spread with this vintage swordfish platter by Arthur Court Designs. Made of heavy cast metal, this playful centerpiece artistically takes the shape of a carved swordfish, with a relieved motif of fish bones in the oblong central depression where food would be plated. At one end of the platter is the head of the fish from a top-down perspective, with a long spiked snout and two semi-precious stone inlaid eyes. The opposite end of the platter is the tail of the fish, with intricate scale patterning which tapers narrowly into a small tail fin. Both elegant and whimsical, it makes for a tasteful conversation piece. Good vintage condition. Unusual piece of Arthur Court design.
