Beautiful teak bench titled the King Bench A Leg designed by Pierre Jeanneret for Chandigarh. Imported from India with care, this bench tell a story far beyond what the eye can see.

The stenciled markings read - "ASR-38."

With a rectangular seating section that spans across three cane columns, this bench maintains its beauty with or without the cushion. Underneath the handmade cushion, you can see the detail and intricacy of the weaved cane. Connected by one smooth bar going across the bottom center, the bench holds itself up with two A-shaped sides.

Elegant and stylish piece that would look incredible at the end of a bed, in an office, living room, foyer, or anywhere in the house to add dimension, texture, and a comfortable seating option.

b. 1896
Pierre Jeanneret was a swiss architect who worked closely with his cousin, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret (known by the pseudonym Le Corbusier. They set up a studio together in 1922 and worked closely with Charlotte Perriand at their studio Rue de Sevres for 10 years (1927-1937). Jeanneret is most well known for his designing of the buildings and furnishings of Chandigarh, India. Jeanneret died in 1967 and his ashes were scattered in a lake in Chandigarh.
