Queen-sized leather bed by Guido Faleschini for Mariani/Pace. Made in 1970s Italy. Features two built in ottomans. The whole set is meticulously wrapped in new black leather. Leather strap detailing at the foot of the bed and around both stools. Two built in reading lights made of chrome-plated brass and enameled steel can be angled in any direction. 

This monumental piece adds character and luxury to any bedroom. Extremely rare and in good condition as shown.

Original leather has been completely replaced. Brand new decking on mattress pieces and headboard pieces. 

Same bed that we sold to Kravitz Design group and Lenny Kravitz was photographed in for a large development project.

Bed includes two mattress pieces, two headboard pieces, two ottomans, two lamps and 4 leather straps with buckles.

27" height with bedside lights, 22" height without bedside lights. 

Mattress space is 64" wide and 79" deep.

b. 1935
Guido Faleschini, born on March 6, 1935, in Milan, Italy, is a prominent Italian architect and designer renowned for his innovative contributions to contemporary design. He studied at the Politecnico di Milano, where he honed his skills in architectural and industrial design. One of Faleschini's most celebrated works is the Tucroma chair, a striking example of mid-century modern design. Introduced in the early 1970s, the Tucroma chair is characterized by its sculptural form and use of luxurious materials, including leather and chrome-plated steel. The chair features a distinctive, angular design with a high back and wide seat, offering both aesthetic appeal and ergonomic comfort. The Tucroma chair exemplifies Faleschini's ability to blend functionality with artistic expression, making it a timeless piece in the world of modern furniture design.
