Overview

Six anatomical plaster casts of deformed hands.

No provenance, however it seems likely they were used for anatomical studies or in a museum - the Boston Science Museum has some very similar casts on display.

All hand painted in skin tone colour with screw attachments on each palm for mounting. Some are hollow and some are filled and solid. Very unique, albeit sad and macabre set. Unable to find anything remotely similar online for sale.

Priced as a set of 6.

Measurement of largest hand is: Height 6.1" x Width 3.5" x Diameter 2.5"
Measurement of smallest hand is: Height 2.75" x Width 1.75" x Diameter 1.25"

Located in our Los Angeles Gallery.
