Handsome saddle leather case by French fashion house, Hermes. Made in the 1950s. H metal buckles flank each side of the case. Case opens up to reveal 'HERMES - MADE IN PARIS' on leather. Inside there is a large grouping of shaving/toiletry items. Leather folding mirror with tons of patina, that stands up on its own. Stamped 'Hermes' in gold. Leather folding pouch that can hold tweezers, scissors, a comb also stamped Hermes. Ebony brush stamped Hermes - Paris. Metal box with removable lid, stamped Hermes. Bottle with twist off cap, Stamped Hermes Compartment with leather lid, holds a razor, and a small tin box that holds razor blades. Another compartment with a leather lid that can be used for storing misc. items. Such an elegant piece of Hermes and great piece of collectible design.

Established in 1837 in Paris, Hermès is the oldest luxury fashion house still in operation today. The company began producing saddles and other equestrian supplies for European noblemen. During the 1920s the brand began designing and producing clothing and accessories for men and women and during the 1930s, Hermès introduced some of its most universally recognized goods such as the leather "Sac à dépêches" in 1935 which was later renamed the "Kelly bag" after Grace Kelly, and the Hermès carrés (square scarves) in 1937. Today Hermès remains one of the most well respected fashion houses across the globe producing some of the most coveted goods in the world.
