Classic vintage Goyard trunk. Wooden frame wrapped in the iconic Goyard canvas print with saddle leather and brass hardware. Incredible patina and coloring to leather and canvas. Accents of blue and white paint give this trunk amazing charachter. Timeless simplicity in design and iconic badging have made this brand a staple of elegance since 1853. Initially started as a malletier for the aristocrats of the 1800s, Goyard developed it's "Goyardine" canvas which is made up of three layers blending linen and cotton and covered with a resin that makes it waterproof and provides a leather look. Goyard has kept its original location in Paris which is imprinted on all their pieces. The branding reads "233 Rue St Honoré, Paris" with the Goyard name above. Some wear as shown. Over 80 years old. Large open space for goods. Good vintage condition.
