Hand made wooden lawn bowling balls with a thin metal plate on either side. Slightly varying wear, size and patina for each ball making them unique. Originally used by the British Monarchy these balls would be rolled across the royal gardens as part of a game only meant for royalty and even punishable by fine and imprisonment if commoners or peasants were found to be playing. Each ball is hand made of a dense solid wood. Would go beautifully on a coffee table or entry way in a bowl as a centerpiece or as a door stop. Cool piece of usable art. Sold as a pair.
