Pair of sculptural acrylic chairs made by Diogo and Juliette Felippelli. They founded Joogii in 2015 to create objects and art that cultivate a vibrant environment with the intention to bring story, energy and dialogue into the global design marketplace. Named after famed disco Pioneer Giorgio Moroder, the chair is made of 3/4" acrylic and is coated with a hand-applied dichroic film that casts a prismatic color spectrum from every angle.Inspired by 1990s French House music and artists the French Touch Collection expands the design lexicon of the French Touch concept chair (released earlier 2016) to encompass a range of functional objects for interiors and the body.
Geometric shapes, exposed edges and interlocking elements create a prismatic landscape that capture the design essence of the original French Touch while offering new sculptural forms for every-day use. Each piece is milled by a CNC machine and coated with a hand-applied dichroic finish that changes hue and saturation with varying light and shadow. The French Touch collection is designed and manufactured in Los Angeles, California.
Chairs retailed for $12,000 each. Priced here as a pair for $9500
