Stunning platform desk by Gianni Moscatelli for Formanova. Made in Italy, in the 1960s. Wood is Ebony Macassar. Brushed steel frame in great vintage condition. Wood newly refinished in smokey grey/brown to show wood grain. Finished in multiple coats of clear lacquer. The wood looks like glass. Floating pedestal drawers on each side. Left side has three pull out drawers. Right side is one large file drawer. Both sides with original lock. Backside of each pedestal is a hollow cubby. Perfect for books and objects. Great piece of collectible design.
