Rare and beautiful concrete urn designed by Swiss neo-functionalist and industrial design pioneer Willy Guhl for Eternit in Switzerland.
Painted green by a previous owner which has slowly weathered and patinaed through the passage of time revealing the raw cement beneath creating an almost Pollock'esque abstract surface.
A sculpturally beautiful and functional urn that looks incredible both indoors and outdoors. In the words of Guhl himself; “At the center of my efforts, I put people and their living requirements. I want to improve their immediate environment. My products must be useful to people.”
Mouth opening is 14.75" D.
